NEW Clinical Pilates - Pilates Classes and Individual Sessions
Although Pilates can be extremely beneficial for patients with certain injuries it needs to be specific to the individual and not used as a generic tool for everyone. Clinical Pilates (as distinct to generic Pilates classes) identifies this key issue by applying carefully selected exercises to patients with specific injuries. This ensures optimal gains whilst minimizing the likelihood of injury aggravation. If you are interested in commencing Pilates for your injury, it is essential to have a review with a physiotherapist to assess the suitability of a core stability program for you.
Clinical Pilates is unique in the fact that it has been developed alongside scientific research making it evidence based and thus the only Pilates used by major sporting institutions such as the British and Australian Institutes of sport.
We currently offer a wide variety of classes, on various days through-out the week. We try to keep class sizes small to enable maximum tuition from our instructors. We are blessed to have two very experienced Pilates instructors currently based at The Physio Co. Please feel free to contact either instructor about their class vacancies.
